Nothing Better Than Fall

In Southern Oregon, this is the best time of the year. The weather is gorgeous, the air crisp and clean. The pears and apples are ready, juicy and delicious. If I've put my knitting down over the summer, I always pick it back up in the fall. My favorite yarn colors right now are Fall colors, the earthy gold, orange, brown, olive green and plum. Unfortunately I have been neglecting my blog, due to the fact I've been making applesauce, pearsauce, and apple pies, and then of course the Knit Picks package. I ordered some Andean Silk in Lettuce to make Fetching from Knitty. The color of the yarn is fabulous. It just matches my mood right now. I also ordered Start Spinning and The Twisted Sisters Sock Book. The sock book was not all that impressive, Sensational Knitted Socks suits me better. So I sent back the book, some bare sock yarn and yarn dye. I've got too much going on to start dyeing right now. They're so many great dyers out there I think, I'll just purchase the beautiful yarn.
